The GUI is very nice and clean, one of the best I’ve seen for such programs.
Its strong point is its cataloging: if we have thousands of titles in our hard drive, MediaMonkey will look for them and will catalog them automatically, by author, album, year, genre, etc.. When we want to hear something, just look for the author, genre or year, for a list of all the songs with those features on our HD. If the folder with audio files is also a cover of the CD, it will be displayed (front and back) while listening to the tracks. We can also give an assessment of the tracks (1 to 5 stars), so you can listen to songs only after that we like.
Obviously this is a good audio player embedded, so you can hear the tracks you want.
It can also extract CD (CD Audio Disc Drive) and convert between various formats, but these things are free programs that do an excellent job (EAC and dBpowerAMP).
Some functions (such as advanced search) are only in the shareware version, called MediaMonkey Gold, however the free version is more than enough for the vast majority of users.
Big Stretch Reminder is a simple free program that takes care to remind us (at intervals defined previously by us) to take breaks while working with the computer, a bit as another program on hitfreeware with similar characteristics, Workrave.
The graphical user interface (or better configuration interface) is simple and intuitive, the few options we have available are quite immediate to understand (as is currently in English only).
It can also make him stop counting when the PC is idle.
Overall very useful for people who work too much to the PC and does not remember to pause.
