Completely free, it works similarly to the various programs of the class, you can encrypt files, executables, or even entire folders, supporting the 256-bit encryption, making it impossible (at least with current knowledge and computers) opening document without a password.
Compared with TrueCrypt does not create encrypted volumes, but as Kruptos-and-only programs like the containers, which can accommodate folders and documents, every time must be decrypted before it can be used, remains very easy to use (more than TrueCrypt), even for novice users.
You can create self-extracting encrypted files (so they can be open even on systems that do not have Androsa File Protector installed), and there is a portable version (for keys / USB pen drive), and is compatible with XP, Vista and Windows 7.
Very simple and yet very useful to extract the video track from DVD without recompression or quality loss (if the DVD is decrypted with the usual DVD Decrypter, DVDFab, AnyDVD, etc.).. It a function that in some cases it may prove extremely useful, especially because the resulting mpeg file can be treated as ordinary video files (cut, mounted again, etc…)
Subtitle Creator is an open source program unique, through which we can add subtitles to a DVD (as long-course-this is already decrypted the hard drive, with programs such as DVDFab). We want to add the subtitles (in .srt or .sub), or modify or even change the timing.
Operation is quite simple. To create the new DVD (including menus), Subtitle Creator requires that three programs (all free) are on our computer, and that is PgcDemux, MuxMan and VobBlanker.
